We have invested over £6.5 million in a project to upgrade part of the 132kV electricity network in Dundee. The first two phases of the project involved the installation and commissioning of new underground cables and are now complete. The final phase of work will start on 29 June 2009 and will involve the removal of the power line which runs from the Scott Fyffe roundabout at the top of Greendykes Road to the south side of the railway line adjacent to Broughty Ferry Road. The project is expected to be complete by 20 August 2009. More information about the final stage of the project can be found in the Frequently Asked Questions.
