    Since the publication of our Looking Forward Report in May we have focused on delivering our fewer but more impactful plans and commitments for this year across the six key areas that you told us were important to you. These included.

    Engagement Events

    At Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks we are committed to making your feedback the central part of improving our business, to ensure we provide the network you require now and in the future. Throughout the year we hold regular customer engagement events and workshops across a wide range of subjects.  Click below to see a list of our upcoming engagement events.  

    Newsletters

    To expand the way we communicate with our Stakeholders we  introduced a quarterly newsletter for all our connection customers and also  produce separate tailored newsletters for individual segments or to highlight new improvements we want to share. We are aware that our industry continues to evolve and these publications will  ensure you are always kept  informed of our news, plans, commitments and policy changes. You can keep up to date by subscribing to our connections updates mailing list. 
  • Our Proposed ICE 2018/19 Work Plan – Stakeholder Survey

    Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks is the trading name of Scottish and Southern Energy Power Distribution Limited (SSEPD) which is one of six licensed Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) in Britain serving almost 3.5 million domestic and non-domestic customers and stakeholders in two licensed areas: Scottish Hydro Electric Power Distribution (SHEPD) in the North of Scotland; and Southern Electric Power Distribution (SEPD) in Southern England.

    Moving forward we are more committed than ever to doing business in a way that meets your needs as a major connections customer. A vitally important part of this process involves giving you an opportunity to provide us with feedback on the services we provide.

    • New GIS Symbol Legend

      Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks maintain a Network Geographical Information System (GIS) which represents the assets on the network in a geographical form. Access can be requested by emailing mapping.services@sse.com. On this system symbols are used to illustrate different types of Assets, to be clear what the symbols mean please view a helpful legend.

    • Clarify Contestable and Non-contestable Works

      Just because we own the network doesn’t mean you have to accept a quotation from us.  Please find an updated leaflet describing the type of works an Alternative Provider can undertake for you

      Our Active Solutions Team are a new team, appointed to roll out proven innovation that requires a active post-deployment engagement, with an emphasis on improving your connections experience.
