  • We are Network Upgrades

    • There are many different roles and responsibilities involved with the upgrading of your network, we all work together to ensure that your network is secure and that we provide 10/10 service.
    • The admin team are on hand to take your calls and answer your emails.
    • Cable Installations Supervisors are there to ensure that the schemes run smoothly.
    • Our Communications Liaison Officer is on hand to ensure that all residents/businesses affected are pre advised of our network upgrades commitments.

  • What we do

  • Our Network Upgrades department replaces existing cables on the low voltage and high voltage networks where the existing cable has come to the end of its useful life. 

    The network upgrades team aim to keep all affected customers fully informed of our working schedules. In order to do this we hand deliver advanced letters to properties that will be affected by our schemes, these letters provide customers with the contact details for our dedicated customer liaison team. 

      Advance warning signs are also put out in public areas to advise the general public of our upcoming works with our contact details displayed giving our customers the option to contact us with any enquiries or concerns they have.
        
      We aim at all times to be as accommodating as possible and endeavour to reply to emails and messages within 48 hours during a normal working week.

      • Network upgrades provides a quality service to improve supply reliability, we are investing millions of pounds every year to upgrade and improve the electricity supplies in the Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks region. 
      • Network Upgrades installed and energised in excess of 62,554km of HV and LV cable between 1 April 2015 and 31 March 2016. This covered 11 counties within our distribution area.
      • We have a dedicated team that are willing to assist with any concerns you may have before, during and after the duration of any works in your area.
      • We always strive to put our customers first and aim to provide a 10 out of 10 service.
