  • Resilient Communities Fund

We’re offering grants to support community resilience projects in our network areas

  • The Resilient Communities Fund was established in 2015 to support communities to prepare for future emergency weather events. The fund has focused on projects which help vulnerable or isolated people living in our network areas. Since 2015 we have funded 195 projects to the value of £1.26 million, supporting communities to improve resilience.

We recognise the success of the fund and have committed to offering a new round of funding in early 2017. Further details will be available soon.

  • Resilient Communities Fund Stakeholder Consultation

Scottish and Southern Electricity Network would kindly invite people living or working in our central southern England and the north of Scotland network areas to respond to the stakeholder consultation on the future of the Resilient Communities Fund. After a successful two year pilot SSEN has confirmed we will continue support for the fund until at least 2023. To ensure the fund continues to meet the needs of communities we seek the views of stakeholders to set the criteria and scope of the future rounds of the fund. The document can be viewed here.
